Almost perfect. Better than Day 1 -2 for my taste. Bought them both.
I really like the Capture 365 app and the companion app for Iphone but after purchasing it found out that you can only have 1 journal. If you’re interesed in multiple journals this app can’t do it like Day One 2 now does. I understand that the multiple journal update will be available as soon as Apple approves it’s submission by the developer. I’d also like to have the ability to select multiple tags when displaying journal entries. Perhaps in a future release.
As of now, Capture 360 is a really nice app. Once the update is approved it will be almost perfect. I purchased Day One 2’ at the same time to compare them for my needs. Both are good journaling applicstions, each with they’re own set of limitations.
Update after 3 days —— 3/13/16 —— I’m playing around with both Capture 365 and Day One 2. I’m finding I’m gavitating toward Capture 365. I’d like to see a couple of features that Day One 2 has but I think I just like the look and a couple of features of the Capture 365 application better. Tried the Icloud sync and somehow it works without effort. I just followed the directions. It’s syncing now between my Iphone 6S and the MacAir.
Last update to my review of Capture 365 — April 1, 2016 — After using both Day One 2’ and Capture 365 on the MacAir along with the companion IOS app on the Iphone 6 I’ve decided to drop Day 1-2 and use Capture 365 as my journal application. I changed over from Icloud syncing to ‘direct sync’ which works fine,,, I just followed the instructions and the 2 devices sync very nicely.
Support is important to me and ‘Sockii’ appears to have good support. I sent them a couple of emails and they responded within a day answering my questions.
Thanks Sockii for making Capture 365 available. Its my journal of choice.
Everyone’s different so you may find a different application more to your liking. For me,,,, it’s Capture 365 on the Iphone and MacAir
